Editorial and Medical Review Policy

Who writes our content

Every page names its author. Pages about surrogacy costs, compensation, agencies, process, law and international programs are written by Pooja Patel, MD, who manages surrogate screening, matching and journey coordination in our New York program. Pages about pregnancy, obstetrics and reproductive medicine are written by Shweta Rathod, MD, an obstetrician-gynecologist with IVF and labour-room experience. We do not publish content written by outside agencies or by AI tools without a named physician author who has reviewed and takes responsibility for it.

Medical review

Every page is reviewed before publication by Rashmi Gulati, MD, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, our Medical Director since 2004. Review covers clinical accuracy, whether claims are supported by the sources cited, and whether the page is consistent with our published facts. The reviewer’s name and the date of the last review appear at the top and bottom of each page.

Where our facts come from

Success rates are reported per SART, the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, and cited to the most recent National Summary Report. We do not use any other source for success rates.
Costs, fees and compensation are our own published figures, maintained on our facts page and updated when our fee schedules change. Figures for other agencies are used only when they are published by that agency and are linked to the source.
Legal information is checked against the statute or case law cited on the page and is reviewed each January; it is general information, not legal advice.
Medical information cites peer-reviewed sources and professional guidelines (ASRM, ACOG, SMFM, CDC) by name.

Dates and Updates

Each page shows a ‘Last updated’ date. A page is re-reviewed when a cited source changes, when our fees change, when a law changes, and at least annually. Changes to any figure on our facts page are logged there with the date.

Rankings and disclosure

Our ranking of US surrogacy agencies uses a published eight-domain method with public data and includes Surrogacy4All on the same basis as every other agency. We disclose that we are the publisher on every ranking page, and the full method, weights and limitations are on our ranking methodology page. No agency pays to appear, and we do not accept advertising.

Corrections

If you find an error, email info@surrogacy4all.com with the page URL. We correct factual errors within two business days and note material corrections on the page.

Advertising and conflicts

Surrogacy4All is an agency; our pages describe our own programs and say so. We do not carry advertising, affiliate links or sponsored content, and our physicians receive no payment tied to the content they write.
